Producer: Geschickt Region: Alsace Cuvée: Pinot Noir Vintage: 2018 Varietal: Pinot Noir This is 100% Pinot Noir sourced from their two low-yielding parcels Soot and Hochstaden, giving the grapes purity and concentration. The grapes are picked for ripeness and are macerated on the skins for two weeks before pressing and aging in old wooden foudre for 14 months. Unfined and unfiltered with zero sulphur. Great to drink now! A multi-generational wine making family now run by Frédéric and Arnaud Geschickt. The vineyards converted to biodynamics in 1998 after having the realization that their land and vines longevity was dependent on sustainability.
